Enterpreneur / Business Investment Visa

The D2 visa, also known as the Entrepreneur Visa, is an excellent option for foreign nationals looking to live and work in Portugal. This visa is specifically designed for individuals who wish to start their own business or invest in an existing enterprise in Portugal. By obtaining the D2 visa, entrepreneurs can take advantage of Portugal's thriving economy, favorable business environment, and high quality of life, making it an attractive destination for business-minded individuals.

To qualify for the D2 visa, applicants must demonstrate a viable business plan and prove sufficient financial means to support themselves and their business endeavors. This includes presenting a detailed project that outlines the business model, projected financials, and potential impact on the local economy. Additionally, applicants must show that they have the necessary skills and experience to execute their business plan effectively. After five years of maintaining their residency, D2 visa holders can apply for permanent residency or even Portuguese citizenship. This makes the D2 visa not only a means to start a business but also a stepping stone towards a long-term lifestyle in Portugal. With its strategic location in Europe, robust infrastructure, and welcoming atmosphere, Portugal presents a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to thrive and enjoy a fulfilling life.
